One of the country’s most famous features is the mammoth Panama Canal. Designed and created over ten years by the US Army Corps the canal was a shortcut through the great continental divide, this jungle-fringed feat is one of the wonders of the world.
Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is a tropical island nation in the Indian Ocean, rich in culture, history, and natural beauty. Sip a cup of Ceylon tea on one of Sri Lanka’s world-famous tea plantations, Spy on elephants in their natural habitat at Minneriya National Park and Climb to the top of Sigiriya Rock and explore the ancient fortress! Floating in the Indian Ocean, the Maldives are the cream of the crop when it comes to secluded beach holidays.
