When we asked Leoni to book Lapland for us, we could never of imagined what a beautiful, perfect experience she could organise. The whole package was a smooth and amazing experience, from hiring snowsuits, riding snowmobiles, being pulled by huskies on a sled and meeting the big man himself in his secret hideout. We’d like to thank Mike and Karen at Born2Travel for making the whole process so easy and for the good advice about what to do and where to go. They gauged what we wanted and got their recommendations spot on and even booked the airport parking for us. The Barcelo Funchal Old Town hotel was in the perfect spot, right on the square with the cathedral. So central and with lots of excellent restaurants and bars within a very short walk, the fact it had a roof top pool and bar if you fancied relaxing with a book for a few hours was an added bonus. Jet2 were excellent, the airport staff were great and the planes were spotless. They even rang to check everything was OK while we were in Madeira and all information was relayed brilliantly by them and Born2Travel for a stress free break. We can’t wait to go back to Madeira and wouldn’t hesitate to booked with Born2Travel and Jet2 again.

So pleased we went with Born 2 Travel, the service from start to finish was simply amazing, thank you! The Victoria palace in Cefula was in an excellent location just outside the town. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice, the service from all the staff was welcoming and friendly and the room was excellent. Cefula was wonderful at this time of year most things open but fairly quiet. there are some excellent bars and restaurants . Our favourite were the Poseidon lido on the beach, the urban jungle and the Antica Porta Terra.

Wow… what an incredible night we had last night at the Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel! 🎃🧡
The hotel really pulled out all the stops for Halloween, creating an amazing atmosphere from start to finish. The decorations were fantastic, the food was delicious, and the whole evening was packed with fun, surprises and entertainment! 👻🍽️
🎆 The fireworks were absolutely spectacular, lighting up the night sky and adding that extra bit of magic to an already brilliant evening!
But the highlight had to be the incredible entertainment. The energy, the performances and the effort that went into making the night so special really were second to none. It was one of those evenings that makes a holiday feel extra memorable! 🥂🎶

🇨🇾 A DAY OUT IN PAPHOS – OUR FIRST-HAND EXPERIENCE! 🌊☀️
Whilst staying at the beautiful Athena Beach Hotel, we decided to head out and explore Paphos for ourselves, and what a lovely day it turned out to be! 😍
We started by walking the coastal path from the hotel down towards Paphos Old Town and the harbour. It was a beautiful 15–20 minute walk, with stunning sea views along the way and plenty of opportunities to stop, take photos and soak up the sunshine. 🌴📸 The perfect way to explore the area without needing to jump in a taxi!
Once we reached the harbour, we enjoyed a spot of lunch, had a wander around the shops and explored the local area. There’s such a lovely mix of traditional charm, little shops, restaurants and places to sit and watch the world go by.
And to finish the day? We couldn’t resist a bit of PARAGLIDING! 🪂 What better way to enjoy those incredible Mediterranean views? If you fancy something a little more adventurous, Paphos has an amazing choice of water sports too! 🌊

“Wow, what an absolutely fantastic hotel. From the moment we arrived at the Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel, the experience was fantastic! Check-in was smooth and efficient, getting our holiday off to the perfect start. The staff are so friendly and can’t do enough to help!
Our room is luxurious, and we’ve been upgraded to Elite Class — which includes a variety of added extras including a fully stocked mini bar, so much wine and champagne on arrival as well as unlimited à la carte dining and much more that i will update you on during my stay- such a lovely added touch! The highlight has to be the stunning sea view from our balcony, the perfect spot to sit back, relax and soak up the Cyprus sunshine. 🌊☀️
